Akarana Twilight Golf is a highlight of the club calendar, renowned for its popularity, vibrant atmosphere, and the unique test it brings to golfers of all levels.
We run two series spanning throughout the summer season, with no commitment to play all weeks, after 1 night with us you wont want to miss out on another. This highly anticipated series offers a dynamic mix of formats that challenge skill, strategy, and adaptability with your playing partners. Choose your own team of 4, or sign up on your own and meet new people, the choice is yours.
Whether you're chasing the leaderboard, enjoying a social round with mates, or simply taking in the late afternoon sun, Twilight at Akarana blends competition and camaraderie in true Kiwi golfing style.
Each week our in house caterers put on a few options for dinner, suitable for all dietary requirements. They cook the dinner so you can focus on your golf game on a Wednesday evening.
HOW TO REGISTER:
Sign up via our tee sheet on GolfNZ or the Akarana Website, which Opens 9 days in advance each week at 6:30pm for members or 7:30pm for Visitors. Select your starting hole, pick your partners and we will see you on the course!

HOUSE RULES:
We welcome all golfers to participate in Twilgiht at Akarana, but in the interest of fairness we require all golfers to hold a valid GolfNZ Hnadicap to be in it to win the prizes.
- Visitors: All entry fees are to be paid in advance, visitors paid at the time of booking.
- Members: All members will need to ensure that their House Account has sufficient funds on the day of play for the Golf Team to print and organise scorecards.
- The Sprig bar will be open early to help loosen up those swings.
- Golf Carts available on request, we recommend you reserve one at the time of booking.
- Announcements from 5pm each week for scoring rules and team format.
- Shotgun Start at 5:30pm.
- All scorecards returned and entered before 8pm, Prize Giving from 8:15pm each week.
- Raffles in the clubhouse after for a chance to win one of our classic meat packs.
