Akarana Dress Code:
A respectable standard of dress code is expected at all times on the course and in the clubhouse. Club Officials and the Golf Shop staff have full jurisdiction to uphold the dress standards on the course and, at their discretion, may ask any person on the course to dress appropriately in keeping with the following standards.

MOTORISED VEHICLES CARRYING PEOPLE (MVCP)
Medical Certificates Required:
- For club championships, 36-hole (single day) events, and for other events specified from time to time by the Captains’ Committee:
- MVCP will only be available in these competitions to members who have lodged, with the Golf Operations Manager and golf shop, a conforming and current, medical certificate. No other player shall travel in the cart without a certificate.
- Medical certificates for specific, short term, situations must have a start date and an expiry date.
- All Medical certificates for on-going or chronic situations must have a start date and either an expiry date or be clear that it is intended to be on-going without expiry.
- Certificate not required:
- Players without a current medical certificate may use carts in other club events and scrambles.
- However, all MVCP are subject to the Club’s Course Restriction Bylaw.
- Carts must be kept at least 10m from any green.
- A maximum of two people is allowed on a cart at any time, and no-one is allowed to travel on the back.
- Use of a private/personal motorised cart will require payment of a fee per round of golf to support on-going maintenance and extension of the cart path programme and of related services.
