Akarana nine-holer wins
2007 Champion of Champions |
On Friday the 16th of November our very own Sulochana Singh (and her support crew) took the honours in the nine hole division at the annual Champion of Champions event at Titirangi.
Playing very well in the unpleasant conditions Sulochana thoroughly deserved her win. |

Nine Hole Mystery Tour |
When the course was unavailable on October 11th the 9 hole ladies group organised a mystery trip with a beach theme.

The bus took them to South Head for a brisk game of Canadian fours and then to the MacNut farm for lunch.
Prizes were given out after lunch including a prize for the ‘best dressed’ won by Mary Brittenen sporting a Englishman’s ‘seaside outfit’ including headgear of a knotted hanky!
With the weather staying fine a great day was had by all.

Its all smiles for Trish Strand after
her hole in one at the Par 3 16th on 1
December 2005 at Akarana.
Trish used her 5 wood to achieve this
and finished with a net 63 – a fantastic
score. That handicap will certainly come
down after this!
