Business Women Pennants Win 2014

Firstly a huge CONGRATULATIONS to the Business Women's Pennant Winners for 2014 – AKARANA…..

Pictured in their NZ Community Trust uniforms, the playing team was -Anne Familton, Rae Riggir, Ma Thorpe, Susan Macken, Mandy Zimmerli and Sinead Keaney, the caddies Aseri, Alan (Pru's husband – Pru plays at  Remuera and usually caddies for Ma but was overseas so subbed her hubby) Pip Dunphy, Mark, Robyn and Rachel and Marg Lay who were unavailable for selection.

The supporters were out in force (12 of us) which I imagine was disconcerting for our opponents Remuera.

The weather was great – Howick was in excellent condition and it was absolutely nail biting….

68 strokes were given across our 6 players, some of the opponents played well under their handicaps and Akrana won by 3 points.

2012, 2013 and now 2014…..
