Strahan Smith - 2001 Club Champ

Playboy, superstar and southpaw
golfer Strahan Smith takes us through hole 9 - a leftie's
nightmare.

Strahan in a rare appearance during the 2004 Pennants
season. He managed to win this game.

Strahan compares the very important tee
shot aspect at hole 9 with the correct use of hair care products.
Give it too much and you could be looking silly - not enough
and you just won't be getting the benefits. It's certainly
a toughie (especially off the back) and with the added difficulty
of overhead obstacles. For lefties with a fade this hole is
not good news. But then again for righties with a hook problem
its not very good either. "My advise is whatever you
do stay out of the trees, your second shot will be long enough
in itself. A good test of golf and suitably ranked in the
5 hardest holes of the course. Just a shame I can't play it
to save myself". Take note all budding 2004 club champs
contenders.
A straight drive is in order
on the ninth for a good finish to the front nine.
2003 club champ Tony Simpson hit this one perfectly. |

General Manager Steve Hackett putts for birdie on
the 9th green. It doesn't yield a lot so if you get
one feel good about it. |
